I got nothing on my list of evening to-dos done yesterday! I was in training all afternoon at work and around 3:30ish, the oddest feeling came over me. I felt dizzy. Not dizzy like I couldn’t walk, but dizzy like “wow, I wonder if I keel over in the street if anyone would notice, or if they would just run over me”. That’s literally what I was thinking as I walked back to my office after training and on the way home from work.
For dinner I ate whatever was quick, easy, and didn’t require much thought: egg and toast, another piece of toast with PB and jelly, hot chocolate (almond milk + cocoa powder + agave), and popcorn, which I shared with Rascal. 🙂
Needless to say, I was a little worried to even drive to the new house in my car to water the yard and my garden. I felt much better as the night went on. I pretty much just laid on the couch and watched a movie.
I watched a foreign movie called Amelie.
It was quirky and interesting. I liked it a lot. Plus, because it had subtitles, I was forced to give it my undivided attention. Sometimes, I try to multitask during a movie and then I don’t enjoy it as much. Paying attention is step one to actually enjoy a movie. 😉
Before you go and watch this movie, you should know that I like somewhat odd movies. Don’t say I didn’t warn you. 🙂

This morning I finally worked out. I did Level 2 of Jillian Michael’s 30 Day Shred and it was hard. I actually think level 2 is more difficult than level 3. It was a struggle to get through the third circuit but I’m so glad I did that quick workout this morning.
Later for breakfast, I was craving the same types of food as I ate for dinner last night.
One perfect egg, one piece of cinnamon raisin Ezekiel toast with PB and blenheim apricot jam, plus one lonely kiwi.
I made a pact with myself not to go to the grocery store this week since Brad is out of town and I won’t have a need to cook meat. I’m getting toward the bottom of the barrel of fresh produce, so I’ll be turning toward my well-stocked freezer soon for help.
I’m not sure if avoiding the grocery store will really save money if I have to restock next week after completely dipleating my pantry and freezer, but we shall see. At least I saved 1-2 hours of grocery shopping this weekend.
Do you go to the grocery store every week or do you tend to stock up so you can skip a week here and there? I typically go every week, sometimes more than once, and to different stores.
