Lots to look forward to

This morning I got to sleep until the very late hour of 5:30.  I’ve made a little deal with myself about exercise.  If I have someone to work out with, I can wait until evening.  But if I’m going at it alone, I better get my butt out of bed, else it it will not happen.

Luckily, Nicole has agreed to run with me tonight.  For me, nothing gives me motivation like knowing someone is counting on me to run, even if it’s most likely going to be cold and rainy.

After my perfect egg yesterday for breakfast, I was more than ready for my other favorite use of eggs.

Ezekiel toast with avocado, Swiss Laughing Cow, and a delicious egg with salt and pepper.  I nuked this egg for 33 seconds and it still wasn’t runny, but very good.

These raspberries had a shelf life of exactly five more minutes when I ate them.  They’ve been hanging on for a long time.  I also sliced a kiwi to round out my fruit bowl.

I’m excited to be moving a long with this week.  I have so many fun things planned starting Wednesday at noon.

-Baking pies with my little cousin, Ashlyn
-Dinner with my best friend, Candace
-Turkey Trot with Jen and Nicole
-Thanksgiving dinner with the family
-Trying out the new Mellow Mushroom on Friday night (love that place!)
-Running a successful 20 miles on Saturday (positive thinking here!)
and….

Brad told me the other day that he has planned a surprise for me on Saturday night.  I have absolutely no idea what it could be but he’s having a great time taunting me with it.  I’m excited. 🙂

What could it be?
