I’ve always had a mind that darted from task to task when feeling overwhelmed. I’m a worrier. I was that little girl who lied in bed worrying about the argument I overheard between my parents or my grandparents dying or the sky falling.
I thought I had a good handle on that tendency…and it all comes creeping back this week.
My breakfast that I enjoyed at 4:30 after being awake over an hour.
Crumbled sunflower seed coconut bar
1/2 cup 2% Greek yogurt
1/2 banana
3 tsp. = 1 Tbsp. sunflower seed butter
~ 1 Tbsp. organic raspberry jam
+1 cup of coffee + 3/4 cup of coffee + 1/2 cup of coffee…yikes.
I’m not so much worrying…I’m just thinking about all the things I need to do this week. There’s so much and I have this tendency to think that if I don’t remind myself constantly, I’m going to forget something important.
Right after I finished this bowl of goodness I got a quite a few things done on my list.
1. I finalized the reception seating arrangements
2. I finalized the reception area table arrangements and table numbers
3. I came up with a way to label tables and seating arrangements at the rehearsal dinner.
4. I emailed my reception facility contact to update her on everything.
I can imagine her getting the email and noticing the time, thinking to herself, “this is one crazy bride, emailing me at 5 am about table arrangements.”
And she would be correct.
