It seems that every night I decide I’m going to bed early, I somehow find a reason to stay up later. Tonight, I had a very good reason.
Dinner was a quick one: tempeh, jam, and Laughing Cow on Ezekiel toast with a spinach salad, topped simply with avocado, a squeeze of lemon and a drizzle of honey.
Plus wine. You should drink wine when you’re tired right?
This is one of the wines we bought at the wine tasting at the Wooden Vine. It’s very dry but light…not too heavy, although I enjoy a rich red wine.
For dessert, a mini chocolate coconut date truffle.
These were intended for energy and I needed energy for what we were about to do next…
a trip to Walmart.
Being silly in the elevator on the way down to our car…
Brad singing a song about how he soon is going to have a piece of paper that says that he “owns” me. He made it up of course.
Why were we going to Walmart?
To buy this…
The Canon EOS Rebel! My first DSLR. We haven’t done the tutorial on how to use it yet, so it may be a few days before I actually use it. This thing will be awesome in Italy. I can’t wait to use it.
I’m kind of a “let’s just try this thing out” kinda person, but Brad really wants us to learn how to use it properly, which is probably for the best. I’m sure this will really improve the quality of my photos and improve my content.
Stay tuned as Brad and I try to figure out our new toy.
