I love casual Fridays.
It makes getting dressed for work so much easier because a) jeans go with everything and b) jeans never need ironing. And you know how I feel about ironing.
The recipe for looking and feeling good on casual Friday:
Take one shirt you like a lot…
Maybe something you would wear on a regular work day. This Friday might be casual, but it still needs to be work appropriate.
…and add a pair of jeans.
Not your worn holey jeans. Sure, they look cool, but you can’t get away with that at work. You need crisp jeans; preferably on the darker side. And don’t let me catch you in mom jeans. Everyone should have at least one good pair of great-fitting jeans.
If you can wear casual shoes on Friday, now’s your chance. Another opportunity to wear comfy sandals or flats at work won’t come around for another seven days. (A better shot of these sandals can be seen here.)
