Ironing, shoe color, and rambling

Another work week look for you guys and notice anything different?

I’m not wearing a skirt!

This doesn’t happen very often.  Pants are hot and require ironing, so skirts are usually the way to go, for me.

Brad has recently discovered, after generously offering to iron my pants when I was in a hurry to be on time for work, that women’s pants are much more difficult to iron than men’s pants.  He can’t understand why they make women’s pants harder to iron, while all the while I thought I was just inept at ironing.

This shirt is kind of like this black tube top, in that if you don’t put a belt around it, it’s kind of shapeless and bubbles out.  But with a belt, it’s just perfect. I have lukewarm feelings about these capris, but I am in love with these wedges.  And they’re that match-everything nude color that I’m so very fond of.

But will I ever be brave enough to buy shoes with color? My blue flats I bought in Italy are my only colorful pair.

Enough rambling, let’s get to the good stuff – your turn to ramble. 😉

Do you play it safe with colors when shopping for shoes?

If you regularly iron men’s pants, do you find women’s pants more difficult to iron?
