Green on green is a favorite color combination of mine.
This is probably because green is my favorite color or because I’ve always felt a kinship with this guy and his melancholy tunes.
How could someone named Kelly dislike green? I was named to love it! So of course, I love double the green.
Brad and I attended a wedding on Saturday afternoon and I wore this pea green chiffon dress.
I’ve never wore it with this green belt, but thought I should give it a try. I like it!
I paired it with my match-everything nude pumps and a necklace I received as a gift from a little girl in my class when I used to be a teacher. She has great taste. I like this necklace so much that I had it restrung after I broke it a couple of years ago.
Technically, Brad picked this outfit out after I put it on and asked him if I should wear it. His response was, “If it means you don’t have to change.” I received no less than three compliments from strangers on my dress. So in retrospect, I’m glad I took his advice and didn’t try on my red, pink, or purple dress.
Do you have a signature color? Do you ask your significant other’s opinion about clothes? Even though it probably bothers Brad, I need positive enforcement about my clothing choices from time to time. It’s not easy being married to me.
