On Saturday night, my family met up to celebrate my mom’s 50th birthday after she and I spent the day together.
She wanted it to be low key so we had a nice dinner at Red Rocks at the South Park location.

I ordered the blackened seafood salad which was very yummy with scallops, calamari, grouper, and salmon.

Of course there was cake…and someone likes coconut as much as I do. 😉

Wess joked that he knew why I didn’t order my own dessert – so I could eat everyone else’s. And he’s right! Why should I have to decide on one dessert when I can taste them all? 😉
We ended the night at a wine bar nearby and then said goodbye for the night.
I think my mom had a great birthday and I had a really fun time celebrating it with her.
