Everything is Better with Brie

While I was busy having fun on a girls’ trip to the mountains, Brad’s parents were visiting Charlotte and helping him out with some final touches to the new house.

I made it home just in time to join them for dinner at Crepe Cellar.

 

It was so nice to see them! We usually visit them on the coast at least once during the summer, but have been so busy lately with the house and everything else.  It seems like it has been forever since we saw them.

We started off with the wine special which was a Pinot Grigio.

Sadly, they no longer serve the buffalo oysters, but we ordered another favorite appetizer, the pesto brie fries.

As much fun as I had this weekend, I missed this guy so much.  It was so nice to enjoy a good meal with him before he had to leave to travel for work this week.

 

I ordered the bok choy as my side.

For my main dish, I had the turkey apple brie buckwheat crepe.  I ordered the dijonaise on the side, mainly because I often find the taste of dijon mustard to be a bit overpowering.

Yummm. Everything is more delicious with brie. I’m pretty sure I could eat it every day.
