If you’ve been reading this blog for any amount of time, you probably have already picked up on the fact that I love consignment shopping, especially for kids…or in my case, my baby boy. The turn around on baby clothes is so fast that I often find things at consignment sales that are sitting in Elliott’s closet with the tags still on them. So why not save the money and buy these exact same items gently used. I can’t tell you how much money I’ve saved buying most of Elliott’s clothes via consignment.
In Charlotte, there are two major consignment seasons — fall and spring. I’m excited to shop the spring sales because Elliott is growing fast. I don’t have a lot of 6-12 months stuff for him and after that I have hardly anything. The problem is that there really isn’t a great central resource for finding these consignment sales. Even the website I use has a lot of dates that are TBA because someone from the consignment sale hasn’t updated the listing.
So, I took a little time and did some research and came up with an extensive, but not exhaustive list of the upcoming Charlotte spring 2014 children’s consignment sales. Mark your calendars!
