I hope you all had a very wonderful holiday. My Christmas was awesome! I’m currently coming at you from my latest and greatest gadget — my new Mac Air courtesy of my wonderful husband Brad. I’ve been in need of a new computer for a very long time. My laptop was going on six years old, which translates to 90 years old in computer years. It hacked and heaved and moved at a snails pace for even the simplest of tasks.
This baby is much faster! I <3 it so much!
The main thing I’ve been using my new Apple laptop to do the past two days is to play on Pinterest and Polyvore.
Pinterest is becoming quite the time suck, while Polyvore is teetering on unhealthy obsession.
I’m not kidding. I couldn’t sleep last night so at 3 am, I was in the living room, “playing” with Polyvore.
What is Polyvore?
It’s a website that allows you to create sets of clothing — ensembles, outfits…whatever you want to call them. You can filter clothing by brand, color, type, or cost.
It’s amazingly addictive.
Here’s what I’ve done so far…

I’ve been pretty busy, huh?
One of the coolest things about Polyvore is that you can actually purchase the outfits that you create. Ever since learning that I can filter articles of clothing by price, I’ve tried to create somewhat economical outfits…well, except that $1,200 leather jacket and the smattering of Kate Spade bags. 😉
Joining Polyvore is free and easy, but don’t say I didn’t warn you. If you like fashion, then expect to fall hard for Polyvore.
Pinterest is pretty awesome too. It’s like a catalogue of all things gorgeous and wonderful. If you’re already on Pinterest, you can follow me by clicking on the Pinterest icon in the top left corner of this page (under Follow Me!)
Are you on Pinterest or Polyvore?
I’d love to have more people to follow who can share in my unhealthy obsession. If you’re active on one of these sites, let me know in the comments and expect a new follower.
We can obsess together. 🙂
