I have been a chocolate fiend for the past few days!
After a 8 mile run this morning with my friend Chloe, followed by a breakfast sandwich at the Cluck and Cup, I didn’t get hungry for lunch until 2 pm. I wanted something super chocolaty, but not day can pass where I go without the CSA greens awaiting to be eaten in my fridge.
So I whipped up this super chocolaty smoothie to quench my thirst for chocolate and hide my daily greens.
Super Chocolaty Raspberry Smoothie
1 cup almond milk
1/2 frozen banana
3/4 cup frozen raspberries
1 scoop chocolate whey protein
1 scoop chocolate Amazing Grass
2 tsp. unsweetened cocoa powder
1 big handful of tat soi*
Blend and enjoy!
*Or green of your choice, like spinach or kale
It turns out that tat soi does taste good in a smoothie (i.e. you can’t taste it at all). It looks like my tat soi won’t go to waste and I won’t have to choke it down any longer…not with delicious smoothies like this, anyway.
