I hopped on the elliptical machine early early this morning for 30 minutes. My legs are feeling all that activity from yesterday, but it’s a good feeling.
I also did 100 bicycles and some planks. I would have liked to have done some upper body, but I plan to save that for tonight when Brad and I head down to the gym so he can work out his quads as his doctor suggested.
Currently, his running is still painful for his knee. He is weighing his options but we’re not making any decisions until we absolutely have to make a decision. I feel really bad that he’s going through this. I hate when someone I love is in a situation I can’t fix.
I’m sorry to be so melancholy. At least my breakfast was cheery.
It may not look like it, but this is actually a chocolate strawberry smoothie in a bowl. I even added a tablespoon of cocoa powder which made it even more chocolatey, despite its bright green appearance.
In my Vitamix, went…
1 cup almond milk
3/4 cup frozen strawberries
1/2 frozen banana
1 cup frozen spinach
1 scoop chocolate whey protein
1 Tbsp. unsweetened cocoa
just a bit of Stevia
Gosh this was filling! I thought I had overdone it on the almond crunch granola, but it looks like I used about the same amount as I always do. Nonetheless, this was super tasty! Smoothies always taste so good when you’ve just worked up a sweat.
