Poor sick Rascal

I just love work-from-home days!

I switched my usual work-from-home day to Thursday because I need to physically need to be at work on Friday.

Figuring out what I wanted for breakfast was easy peasy.  I loved yesterday’s breakfast so much, I decided to do a repeat, but I did switch it up a little.

In a bowl I put:

3/4 cup of Greek yogurt
1/2 a sliced banana
1/2 cup of my cinnamon strawberry cereal
1 Tbsp. White Chocolate Wonderful PB

Just as good as yesterday’s breakfast, but different none the same.

That’s not coffee in my cup.  That’s hot water and lemon juice, plus a few stray lemon seeds.

But I assure you, coffee came soon thereafter.

See?  I told you there was Greek yogurt under there somewhere.

Brad and I spent the morning working at our dining room table.  Rascal spent his morning swapping laps.

And then, he got sick.  Three times.  In a variety of ways.  It wasn’t so lovely.

Aren’t you glad I don’t photograph everything?  You should be.

So then a lot of this happened.

And a little more of this. (Please pay no attention to my mismatched pajamas.  I swear the less they match, the more comfortable they are. :))

Thankfully, he seems to be doing fine now.  Brad and I think this was all caused by a treat someone at the bodega downstairs gave him.  We typically say, “I’m sorry, my dog has a weak stomach and can’t have treats, but thank you anyway.”  However, this time, they gave it to him before anything could be done to stop them.

We were wondering all morning why Rascal was being particularly “needier” than usual.  He’s generally a very needy dog, but he just refused to stay on the floor this morning and whined until we would pick him up to put on our laps.  It turns out that he was not feeling well, which explains it all.

Dogs are really more like people than we give them credit.  At least my dog is.
