Since I had a meeting today, I decided it was as good a day as any to wash my hair before work. My hair looks so much better down if I wash it in the morning, rather than letting it air dry while I sleep.
After my shower, I sipped hot water and lemon while I got ready.
Since Brad and I didn’t see each other last night, we decided to have breakfast together. It was a little rushed because I was running late. He was so nice to offer to heat up two pumpkin coconut muffins and make an egg white puff for me.
I forgot to tell Brad that you should never heat up muffins (or cupcakes) still in their papers because it causes the paper to stick. No big deal. Nothing a fork can’t solve.
I’m also pretty good at scraping the paper with my teeth. Nothing stands between me and my breakfast.
Half a sliced pear with cinnamon completed this breakfast of champions. We are still champions, after all. And don’t you forget it! 😉
Brad and I have the silliest conversations and I really wish I remembered to write them down more often. This was our last few words as I left this morning.
Me: (to Rascal) Are you going to work for Bring your Son to work day?
Brad: (to me) How do we get Bring your Dog to Work Day?
Me: Um, ask Mark (Brad’s boss)?
Brad: No, I mean as a national holiday.
Me: Um, ask Obama?
