Gotta make this super quick! We have friends and family coming over in 20 minutes! Eek!
I woke up at 7 am this morning (sleeping in ;)) and had the last piece of Dakota bread with sunflower seed butter and raspberry jam. I look for the PB for 10 minutes. Where is that stuff?
Coffee was a necessity.
I waited to long to run because I wanted to see Caitlin on the Today Show promoting the Operation Beautiful book, and didn’t end up running until after 9 am. It was sooo hot and humid. I ran about 4 1/2-5 miles and walked about 3. It was totally worth it though. I just wanted to sweat…and sweat I did.
Returning home I had…
…the classic Chocolate and Strawberry SIAB.
Why does this taste so darn good after being out in the hot sun for 1 1/2 hours?
I ran wedding errands all afternoon. I multi-tasked by wearing my new trail running shoes. These are going to do double duty for me in Italy as running shoes and trail shoes on our two-day hike of Cinque Terre.
I was in such a hurry this afternoon snack went unphotographed. I had a small sample of the new low carb high protein bread at Great Harvest, a tiny sliver of pear bread, and two mini Chocolate Coconut Date Truffles. I’m surprised I haven’t been hungrier today.
I basically made myself eat dinner because we’re doing our pre-nuptial pub crawl tonight and I didn’t want to go into that on an empty stomach.
I made my version of Maggiano’s house salad: romaine, tomatoes, turkey bacon, feta (instead of blue cheese), red onion, and a dressing made of blue cheese Laughing Cow, fat free mayo, Greek yogurt, worcestershire sauce, dry mustard, lemon juice, a bit of water, and fresh ground black pepper. It was yummy and quick!
Gotta run…our friends will be here in a second to see our place and to drop off stuff if they’re staying here tonight. We’re going to have a full house. Hopefully I’ll have time to post all of the interesting photos in the morning. 😉
