Yesterday, Candace and I had plans to hang out by the pool, but it was too cloudy. Then we made plans to go to the Greek Festival, which was being held in the Dilworth neighborhood, but it started to rain.
So we moved on to plan C…
Amelie’s is a very popular French bakery that has super delicious baked goodies and shabby chic decor. I love their chandeliers!
I chose three small desserts (about two bites each): pistachio macaroon, coconut macaroon, and a raspberry dark chocolate truffle.
Oh so good with coffee.
Candace had a mocha truffle and Amelie’s most famous dessert, the salted caramel brownie. It’s to-die-for.
With the rain still pouring down we decided the next logical thing to do was to get our nails done. Purple for me, pink for Candace. I also got my toes painted dark purple but am a little weirded-out by feet so I didn’t post it thinking others might be too. I don’t dislike my own feet, just everyone else’s. If my feet were someone else’s I wouldn’t like them either.
I know I’m weird. Brad reminds me daily.
