My sugar detox day five went well. I don’t have any sugar cravings and I feel satiated, healthy, and happy with my eating over the past five days.
Overall, my detox is working for me and I’m excited to keep going through day seven and see where I want to go from there.
Now, let’s get to the eats!
Breakfast –
1 cup of yogurt, puffed millet, 1/2 cup blueberries (1st fruit), topped with a tablespoon of almond butter, plus coffee with a splash of skim milk
Lunch –
Ezekiel toast with avocado and an egg, spinach salad with cukes, pecorino cheese, roasted beets (2nd “fruit”) and a splash of red wine vinegar
Snack #1 –
2 Wassa crackers and the last of the cottage cheese, plus two tablespoons of walnuts (not pictured)
Dinner –
Two tomato “sandwiches” with pesto and mozzarella, corn on the cob with Earth balance, and…
Red bell pepper roasted and stuffed with tomato sauce and sauteed tempeh, spinach, garlic, and more red bell pepper
Snack #2 –
Greek yogurt and peanut butter
Yummmm, my favorite non sugary snack. I can’t imagine why they don’t make peanut butter yogurt. Boggles my mind!
Thanks for following my sugar detox journey. I hope you all have a wonderful Tuesday night. 🙂
