Southern gal style

Happy Memorial Day!

I’m taking one more day off from blogging, but I’ve lined up a very stylish guest poster for you today.  Michelle is a fellow Charlottean and a friend, who blogs about her great sense of style over at The PinQue Blog.

In a perfect world, Michelle would be my next door neighbor and allow me to raid her closet on a daily basis.  But, we don’t live in a perfect world.  So I have to be content to window-shop her closet through the internet.  And now you can too! 🙂

Hi! My name is Michelle but you can call me Pinky, everyone else does. Here in the blog world we call all our friends by their blog names, doesn’t everyone? Foodie Fresh (aka Kelly) and I met about a year ago through blog friends and became fast blends (you know, blog friends) ourselves. I mean how could we not? We are both southern gals born and raised on sweet tea and banana pudding! Our love of fresh fashions, running crazy distances and tasty food doesn’t hurt either. Which is why I am loving Kelly’s new personal style posts, because well, we do have that in common among everything else. Here are a few of my own personal style picks perfectly appropriate for professional wear. For more on southern inspired style, come visit me at PinQue Blog!

How cute are those yellow pumps?  I need to take a cue from Michelle and be more brazen when it comes to selecting shoe in bright colors.

If you love Michelle’s style, like I do, click over to The Pinque Blog, where you can see all of the beautiful and stylish outfits she puts together.

I’ll be back tomorrow with tales of our hiking adventure through the Great Smoky Mountains and a race recap of the Patriot 5K.
