Cupcake picking

I had fun lunch plans today to meet some friends at Sweet Pepper’s Deli in Fort Mill, SC.  For all you non-Charlotteans, Fort Mill is only 20-25 minutes away.  It only sounds far because it’s in South Carolina.  😉

Some of my lunch ladies (hehe): Cindi, Brittney, and Jen.  Katie was unpictured but the object of attention in this particular shot.

For lunch, I chose the turkey avocado wrap with cucumbers, green leaf lettuce, and sundried tomatoes.  I asked for the dressing on the side, but it never came at all.  Oh well.

But, then they also left off the avocado.  Not cool, Sweet Peppers.  Not cool.  I only ordered this wrap because it had avocado and I wasn’t going to let it slide that easy.

Poor Katie was in the same boat as I.  No avocado.

I believe in asking for what you want when it’s important to you, which avocado is, so I just marched back up to the front and explained the situation.  They rectified the situation with a small plate of avocado slices, enough for Katie and I.

Katie also shared some scraps leftover from some chocolate chip banana bread she made.  Yum!

After lunch, we stopped by Cupcrazed which was just a shop or two over from Sweet Peppers.  I was too full from lunch to eat a cupcake so I chose one for later to split with Brad (if he’s lucky ;))

The flavors that caught my eye were: a. coconut macaroon, b. double chocolate, c. chocolate PB, and d. carrot cake.

Guess which one I picked. 😉
