More like an oatmeal tragedy. 🙁
Looks can be deceiving.
Take for example this bowl of blueberry cottage cheese oats. It looks just like this bowl of blueberry cottage cheese oats, which tasted wonderful might I add. BUT, this bowl tasted horrible; like burned grossness.
I don’t know what I did wrong. I used the exact same ingredients as I always do. Something must have gone wrong in the cooking process. It seemed like I had to cook these oats extra long for the liquid to be absorbed in the oats. Is it possible for oats to go stale and stop absorbing liquid?
I threw together this quick breakfast and because I was running late, poor Brad was left to fend for himself.
There is some Greek yogurt under those raspberries, cashew butter, and granola, I swear. It’s a good thing I finished off the TJ’s yogurt, because Brad brought home a massive tub of Chobani last night. I’m going to be eating yogurt (happily!) for days.
On the side, cinnamon raisin Ezekiel bread with TJ’s superfruit spread.
This breakfast did not hold me over well. I reached into my purse for a PB chocolate chip Lara bar by 10 am, which quenched my hunger for a few more hours until lunch.

On Tuesday, I mentioned that I would be popping up on The Guerrilla Gourmet. Just wanted to give an update that they’re a bit behind on this because of the large number of collaborators on this project. I’ll be sure to link to it when the project is complete. Keep your eye peeled!
Happy last day of working-from-work for the week Thursday!
