Froggy morning

My dessert last night inspired my breakfast this morning.

Peanut Butter Overnight Oats

1/3 cup rolled oats
1/3 cup Greek yogurt
1/3 cup almond milk
2 Tbsp. peanut flour
Toppings:
1 Tbsp. crunchy PB
1 Tbsp. strawberry jam
Pepitas and sunflowers
Dried berries

Beautiful pottery is an ingredient in an optimal breakfast experience. :)

After this mug of deliciousness, I headed out in the black abyss to work.  It is completely dark now when I leave for work around 7 a.m.  By the time I had reached my aunt’s house to drop off Rascal for his play date, it had grown from dark to foggy…or froggy as my dad always called it when I was growing up.

Fog is kind of beautiful in that eerie, serene sort of way.  Very appropriate for spooky October, don’t you think?

  1. ooh, I love the foggy photos!! it is spooky in a cozy way. we live on a couple acres that look over a lake, and it was SO foggy on the lake this morning… :D

  2. That second photo is absolutely gorgeous. I love the way fall mellows everything out and how fog creates a silence over the world.

  3. me too! Foggy mornings are so calming. I love the pictures and I love the POTTERY even more. :)

  4. Those are awesome photos….you should frame them! They look a little eerie, but also make me think of the peaceful quiet of morning.
