I didn’t want to, but I managed to pull myself out of bed at 4:50 am this morning to get in a quick three miles before work. I was also determined to eat breakfast at a table, rather than in the car.
Aren’t dishes more pretty than plastic-ware? On my dishes: two of my Spelt Blueberry Muffins topped with 1/2 Tbsp. of AB and some blueberry j + an egg white puff with a sprinkle of salt and pepper. I also had coffee per usual with a bit of almond milk. I prefer real milk, but we were out and almond milk had to do. No coffee is not an option when I’m up so early.
I practically licked the plate clean. Those may or may not be finger marks in the jelly residue. That’s one of the perks of eating breakfast alone.
My stomach started talking to me at 10:30 am. I had a staff meeting at 11:00 so I knew I had to tied myself over with something. Enter unsweetened mango slices from TJ’s.
Lunch came at about 11:30. Thank goodness for a short meeting.
Ezekiel with 1 ounce of Brie, Crofters jam, and tempeh, which Brad had sampled, hence the small chunk missing from the corner. On the side: carrots and celery with a generous amount of hummus.
Eventually around 3 pm, snack time was a must. I dug through my lunch box to find this at the bottom.
Every time I pack frozen fruit, when it melts it somehow escapes its container. This would be raspberry juice.
The culprit: 2% Greek yogurt with raspberries and raspberry juice, topped with the last of my granola.
Some ended up on my desk as well. This is what I get for eating at my desk. Maybe I need a bigger lunch box so I don’t have to stick things on their side. Any suggestions for a good lunch box?
