Lost and found

If my spiced nutty sweet potato soup was delicious last night…

…it was amazingly delicious for lunch today.  Sauces and soups are always so much better when the flavors have a chance to sit and marinate.  This is why you should use a crockpot to cook food all day whenever possible.

My salad was a concoction of spinach, celery, cherry tomatoes, feta cheese, carrots, and almonds, with a drizzle of honey and lemon juice.

My orange tasted kind of funky.  Parts were sweet, while other parts were bitter.  I hope this was the only “sort of bad” orange in the bag I bought this weekend.

In other news, I found my spoon/fork/knife utensil this morning!  I haven’t used it for a while because I couldn’t find it.  This is what happens when Brad puts away the dishes.  I’m so grateful that I have a husband that helps me around the house, but two people never do things quite the same way.  And in our case, we put things in different places.

I’ve been using plastic-ware for a while, but am glad to have my little do-it-all utensil back.

Don’t forget to enter my Tropical Traditions Coconut Flour giveaway!  You guys must be awesome bakers because I’ve heard tons of coconut flour ideas; from chocolate chip cookies to blueberry muffins.  I can’t wait to use this stuff again this weekend, but I guess that means I need to eat up the muffins I have already made.  Not. A. Problem.
