Happy Mother’s Day to all the wonderful mothers in my life!
My grandmother, my Mamaw Nancy; a constant source of love and support in my life
My Aunt Tonya, my other mama, who claims me and loves me as her own
My best friend Candace, a wonderful mother and the best friend a girl could have
My mother-in-law Joy, who I’m so very lucky to have in my life.
My new grandmother, Carolyn, who heaps love on Brad and I like only the best grandmothers do
And last, but not least, my own mama,
who hugs and dries my tears when I need it the most, tolerates me when I’m being intolerable, laughs with me at the things other people do not notice, squeezes my hand at just the right time,
and tells me that she’s proud of me and my Mamaw Rogers would be too
