Sardine salad convert

I reached far back into the cabinets today for lunch and pulled out a can of sardines.

I haven’t made sardine salad since this time.  Now I really want to make homemade whole wheat wraps after re-reading that post.

I served it with a side of roasted broccoli and since we’re out of ketchup, I dipped it in Stubb’s barbecue sauce.

Yum.

Brad loves roasted broccoli now too and swears that I’ve been holding out on him with this stuff.  This broccoli was from the freezer so it’s smaller and not quite as crispy, but still very good.  I shared my barbecue sauce with Brad and he kept trying to talk me into dipping my sardine salad wrap in the sauce too.  This was his first time eating sardine salad and I think I have a new convert.

Rascal has always loved sardines.  Anything fishy is right up his alley.  Brad says he likes it because it smells like his breath.  Well, then this must be what it’s like for Rascal to make out with himself.

I ate my very last orange to satisfy my sweet tooth.

Back to work for me.  But later, there will be a run!
