Coconutty giveaway!

Yesterday morning while being sick at home, I debated between a smoothie and oatmeal for breakfast.

The cold/hold combination of smoothie + coffee won out.  I thought this would feel good on my scratchy throat.

In my smoothie in a bowl:

1 cup of almond milk
1/2 frozen banana
hand full of frozen strawberries
1/2 scoop of chocolate whey protein (we ran out)
1/2 scoop of vanilla whey protein
1 Tbsp. cocoa powder

I topped mine with Tropical Traditions concentrated coconut cream.  See how it hardened into a shell on top of my smoothie?  I really love this stuff!  It’s very coconutty without any added sweetness.

This is only 1 tsp. which I melted in the microwave (at room temperature, coconut cream is like soft wax) and then poured on top of the smoothie. Tropical Traditions has an extensive list of recipes you can make with all of their products, including coconut cream and coconut oil, which I’ve also enjoyed using.

I’m so lucky that the people at Tropical Traditions reached out to me to let me try their product.  Now, you can  be lucky too because they have agreed to let me give away both a 32 oz. jar (that’s 4 whole cups) of coconut oil and coconut concentrate cream.  That’s a whole lotta coconut!
