I signed up to run the half this weekend. I love the OBX half, even thought it’s quite pricier than most halves. This is my third time running it and this time, but the first time having a running companion. Brittney is going to run with me which I am so excited about. It’s always just little ol’ me running, so it will be exciting to have someone to celebrate with afterwords.
This was my first try at the OBX half and my second half marathon ever. The course is relatively flat because it’s on the NC coast, but around mile 11 there is gigantic bridge that looks pretty ominous as your round the corner and see the hill you have to climb. This photo was taken by Brad who just happened to pass by in the car as I crested the top of the hill.
So excited for this race! 🙂
