I’m baaaaaack

Wow!  What an amazing past 2 1/2 weeks!

I actually thought I might blog up until the day of the wedding, but that didn’t happen.   In the past few weeks so many things (all good) have happened and I can’t wait to share all of it, although sharing in any length of detail is going to take some time.

I plan to take this a little at a time because I really do want to share it all.  I have some really great photos that shouldn’t go to waste.

But first, let’s catch up on major happenings:

1- I got married to the love of my life.  It was a beautiful ceremony and everything was so incredibly special.  I wouldn’t have changed a thing.

2- I went on the most fabulous honeymoon to Italy. Brad and I really embraced everything about Italy.  We took in the culture of everything from ancient huge cities to small medieval towns.  We ate too much, drank too much wine, took a siesta almost every day, looked at art until exhaustion, and got great tans.  It was absolutely perfect.

3- We bought a house!  We actually found out while we were on our honeymoon that we finally got it.  We weren’t actually planning to start looking for a house for another year, but this house was just too good to pass up.  The location is one of its best features.  We have so many ideas about things we want to do to make it our own.  I can’t wait to make this house a home for Brad, Rascal and I. It will be just the three of us for now anyway. 😉

4- I chopped all my hair off.  I thought I probably would when I got back from Italy, but decided I didn’t want to wait any longer.  I had it cut by a salon owner in Sorrento that spoke very little English, which is why I insisted on finding a photo to show her, crossed my fingers, said a little prayer, and hoped for the best.  It was worth it.  I totally love it!

My posting might not be very consistent during the next week as I try to get my life back in order, catch up on things at work, write a novel of thank you notes, and adapt to the six hour time difference I finally got used to while in Italy.

I’m so excited about everything going on in my life and I can’t wait to share it all.  Thank you for reading. 🙂
